In the middle of the arid desert of Saudi Arabia, a visionary project emerges: The Line. This innovative urban concept, part of the NEOM megaproject, seeks to revolutionize the way cities interact with the environment and meet the needs of their inhabitants.
The Line will be a city that will cross the country from coast to coast, with a length of 170 kilometers and an impressive height of 500 meters, surpassing even the Empire State. Designed in self-contained modules, the city will have everything its residents need within a five-minute walk, from medical services to entertainment, eliminating the need for public transportation.
The most surprising thing is the speed with which it will be possible to cross the city: thanks to artificial intelligence systems, residents will be able to cross it from end to end in just 20 minutes. Additionally, The Line is expected to significantly reduce its carbon footprint, with an environmental impact estimated at just 2% compared to conventional cities.
The project, backed by NEOM and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, brings together the brightest minds in architecture, engineering, and construction to make this vision a reality. The Line aims to not only address the housing and environmental crises but also set a new standard for future sustainable cities.
Strategically located for easy access from anywhere in the world within a maximum of six hours by plane, The Line is planned to be fully constructed by 2030, marking a bold milestone in the future of urban living.
