Martin Scorsese, one of the giants of cinema, is preparing for the release of his next film, “Killers of the Flower Moon,” based on the book by David Grann. The story follows the Osage, a Native American nation that became one of the richest in the world in the 20th century, only to face mysterious murders.
In the early 20th century, the sudden wealth of the Osage Nation attracted white intruders who manipulated and stole their fortune, leading to harrowing murders. The film follows the unlikely romance between Ernest Burkhart (played by Leonardo DiCaprio) and Mollie Kyle (Lily Gladstone). Directed by Scorsese and written by Eric Roth, “Killers of the Flower Moon” is a Western crime epic of genuine love and unfathomable betrayal, also starring Robert De Niro and Jesse Plemons.
The film will hit theaters in Latin America, including Peru, on October 19. Later, it will be available on Apple TV+ on a date to be confirmed.
With Scorsese behind the cameras and DiCaprio leading the cast, expectations are at an all-time high for this historical thriller.
