A prodigious teenager from the state of Oklahoma, Elijah Muhammad, has made history by obtaining a university degree at the early age of 13, according to reports from ABC News.
According to the reports, Elijah graduated from Oklahoma City Community College with an associate’s degree in cybersecurity, becoming the youngest person to obtain a degree from that institution.
While most teenagers his age are preparing to enter high school, Elijah already holds a university degree and has achieved 10 IBM certifications, a Google IT certification, and four diplomas from Oklahoma City Community College.
Despite his outstanding academic achievements, Elijah insists that he feels like any other boy his age, doing the same things and enjoying his adolescence.
“I am currently attending Oklahoma State University and working towards my bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity and forensics.” I am also attending Langston, a prestigious state university. Despite my accomplishments, I still find time to swim, go for walks, play basketball, and have fun,” he commented.
Elijah is not the only teenager in his family who has obtained a university degree at a young age. His sister, Shania, earned an Associate’s Degree from Oklahoma City Community College at the age of 14 and recently, at the age of 15, graduated in Family and Consumer Sciences from Langston University, becoming the youngest person to graduate from that educational institution.
