According to provincial governor Vyacheslav Gladkov, one man has suffered moderate injuries as a result of an attack by Ukrainian military forces on a house in the village of Stari Khutor, located in Russia’s Belgorod oblast. The incident caused damage to the yard of the house, a car, and a power line due to shell fragments.
In the Shebekinsky district, also in the same province bordering Ukraine, the Russian air defense system shot down a Ukrainian drone. According to preliminary information, no casualties were reported as a result of this attack.
Additionally, in the city of Belgorod, a drone crashed into the courtyard of a multi-story building after hitting a seventh-floor window. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported in this incident. Emergency services are working at the scene to deal with the situation.
It is clear that these events are related to the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia. The violence and cross-border attacks have caused property damage and, in the case of the first situation mentioned above, have left one man moderately seriously injured. These incidents underline the tense situation in the region and the need to seek a peaceful and diplomatic solution to avoid further damage and casualties. Local authorities and emergency services are responding to these events and providing assistance accordingly.
