Following in the footsteps of celebrity families like the Osbournes and Kardashians, Stallone, his wife Jennifer, and their three daughters, Sophia, Sistine, and Scarlet, will allow cameras to capture their daily lives.
Premiering on Paramount+ this week, “The Family Stallone” showcases various aspects of Stallone’s life, including his work on the television series “Tulsa King” and intimate moments at home with his family. The show combines celebratory occasions with more personal family scenes, providing viewers with an inside look into their lives.
In a joint interview with Reuters, Stallone expressed his enthusiasm for sharing their lives, stating, “So what you see here is what you get. This is what we’ve been wanting to do for a long time, which is share our lives a little bit because it’s entertaining.” He emphasized that despite their wealth and fame, the family faces similar challenges and desires as everyone else, emphasizing the universal message of love and connection.
The concept for the show originated from Sistine and Sophia’s podcast, “Unwaxed,” which garnered attention for featuring the entire Stallone family and showcasing their relatable humor and valuable business advice. The positive response to their podcast motivated them to share more of their lives through a TV show.
When asked about comparisons to the popular show “The Kardashians,” Stallone acknowledged their success and originality but emphasized that they are taking a different approach. He highlighted the importance of being authentic and not trying to imitate others, stating, “That’s who they are; we are who we are, and that’s what I think gives the audience variety.”
