Prince Harry and Meghan Markle spent Valentine’s Day in the snowy landscapes of Whistler, British Columbia, embracing the freezing temperatures. The couple, glowing with warmth and affection, marked the opening of the 2025 Invictus Games in Canada, holding hands as they navigated the wintry conditions.
Braving 25-degree temperatures, Markle, 42, looked elegant in winter white attire, complemented by a black beanie, fur boots, and a padded cream coat. Prince Harry, 39, sported a grey beanie, a black puffer jacket, and jeans, both radiating happiness as they ventured into the cold.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived in Canada via private jet to join competitors at a winter training camp for the upcoming Invictus Games. Engaging with coaches and participants over the next two days, they experienced winter adaptive sports, with Prince Harry even hitting the slopes in a specially-adapted wheelchair.
This visit follows the recent launch of their new Sussex.com website, which serves as a central hub for their activities. Notably, the couple has decided that their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, will now be known by the surname “Sussex,” emphasizing family unity. The move aligns with the royal family tradition, where the children were initially given the birth name Mountbatten-Windsor.
While the website features Markle’s royal coat of arms, an interesting choice given their agreement not to use royal links for work purposes after moving to the US, its primary purpose is to showcase the Sussexes’ work. The visit to Canada and the launch of the website mark another chapter in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s post-royal lives.
