Curiosity about Garfield’s origin and how he crossed paths with Jon Arbuckle, not to mention the introduction of pizza into his life, is finally going to be satisfied with the release of the new trailer for Columbia Pictures and Alcon Entertainment’s “The Garfield Movie.”
Directed by Mark Dindal and written by Paul A. Kaplan, Mark Torgove, and David Reynolds, the film boasts an impressive cast featuring Chris Pratt as the voice of the iconic lasagna-loving cat, Garfield, and Samuel L. Jackson lending his vocal talents to Garfield’s long-lost father, a streetwise feline named Vic.
The storyline takes a hilarious turn as Garfield, known for despising Mondays and indulging in his love for lasagna, is thrust into a wild outdoor adventure after an unexpected reunion with his scruffy street cat father, Vic. Alongside his canine companion Odie, Garfield finds himself in the midst of a high-stakes heist, challenging their pampered lives.
