He also spoke about the issue of speed in connections and pointed out the importance of proper cooperation and convergence between public policies and companies to face all the implications of the unstoppable trend of technological innovation. He also stressed the importance of defending democratic values, basic human rights, and social responsibility.
The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, took the opportunity to launch a message about the need for a new stage in Catalonia, in which the value of coexistence and agreement prevails. Sánchez urged the representatives of the Generalitat and the City Council to focus on what citizens are asking for in order to be useful in political action. In his speech, he also addressed the issue of the regulation of rental prices, in response to an intervention by the mayor of Barcelona, Ada Colau.
