The following is an excerpt from the memoir written by Prince Harry: tea, a teddy bear, and some water.
Memoir Space Reserved for Prince Harry Prince Harry’s autobiography, titled “Spare,” is on display at a Waterstones bookstore in London, which is located in the United Kingdom.
In conjunction with the publication of Prince Harry’s autobiography, titled “Spare,” the Duke of Sussex divulged intimate secrets of royal life, including the inners served under domed platters and King Charles III’s preferred aftershave. Prince Harry provided an inside look at some of the royal customs that go on behind the walls of the royal household.
The late Queen Elizabeth II’s Scottish retreat, Balmoral, is where the members of the royal family spend their summers. In one of his writings, Prince Harry stated that visitors to Balmoral would be left feeling a little uneasy about what came out of the taps there.
“Guests were frequently shocked by the water, which had a brownish colour and smelled like weak tea.” Apologies for the intrusion, but there appears to be a problem with the water in my toilet. Pa would constantly give them a reassuring smile and reassure them that there was nothing wrong with the water. On the contrary, it was filtered and sweetened by Scottish peat, so there was nothing to worry about. It was written by Prince Harry.
According to what he said, when Prince Harry and Prince William were young, King Charles would enter the Balmoral bedroom that they shared smelling of Eau Sauvage. At the time, Prince Harry shared the room with his brother, Prince William.
Prince Harry also discussed King Charles’ teddy bear, which he brought to Gordonstoun School, the same establishment where the monarch suffered from bullying when he was a student there.
“Teddy accompanied Pa on all of his adventures. It was a pathetic object, with broken arms and dangling threads, holes patched up here and there, and various threads hanging out of it. Teddy articulated the fundamental sense of isolation that he experienced during his formative years in a way that Pa was never able to do. It was written by Prince Harry.
